I build things.
Some work.
Some don't.
Slowly publishing them as I go.
I'm Elijah Juris Evangelista, known online as Juris, a student into programming, robotics, and IoT. Most of what's below started as "I wonder if I could build this." More about me

A few things worth a closer look. Everything I've built, working, unfinished, or long since archived, lives in the full project archive.
BantayMuseo (Bantay Museo) is a semi-autonomous social robot built by Elijah Juris Evangelista (Juris) of Ubay National Science High School (UNSHS), designed to make Philippine cultural education more accessible to rural and underserved communities through offline AI, interactive learning, and autonomous navigation.
A computer-vision research prototype for simulated water-rescue support.
An all-in-one student companion app for Filipino students — schedules, tasks, deadlines, allowances, and an AI study assistant.
Archived Project R.I.V.E.R. flood monitoring and early-warning system, combining hardware, machine learning, databases, and web/mobile applications.
A beginner-friendly gyro-controlled DriveBase for LEGO SPIKE Prime using PD control for straight driving and turning.
A modification to automatically leave and rejoin when falling down the void in Mineberry.
A look at how my interests, projects, and experiments gradually led me here.
Learned to make batch scripts for automating tasks, including installing apps and resetting my old PC. I also experimented with what I jokingly called 'viruses' and other automation scripts. The scripts are lost in time.
Started learning scripting through AutoHotkey, creating custom macros for Hypixel SkyBlock and other Minecraft servers. This eventually led me to develop a script that allowed offline Minecraft accounts to use the official Badlion Client Launcher. The scripts are lost in time.
Co-owned a LifeSteal SMP server, where I helped manage and troubleshoot plugins while learning to develop my own Paper/Spigot plugins and Minecraft datapacks. Most of this work is also lost in time.
Started building server-side tools and client mods for the Mineberry community, including stats bots, QoL mods, and automation.
Expanded into web development by building a public API, dashboard, and logging layer around the Mineberry tools.
First joined a school-based robotics competition, where I won. This became a turning point in my journey, leading me to the school's robotics team and eventually the Philippine Robotics Olympiad in 2025, where we became finalists.
Started working on larger systems combining hardware, IoT, machine learning, databases, and software through a Science and Technology Fair project.
Joined BREO but was disqualified. I was then reassigned to lead our Future Innovators Team, which reached the national level and ultimately won. The team is now representing the Philippines at the World Robot Olympiad.

A few highlights. Competitions, leadership, projects, and other experiences.
Served as the lead facilitator for RoboQuest 2026.
Won the congressional-level Science, Mathematics, and Technology Fair (formerly known as the Science and Technology Fair).
Won the district-level Science, Mathematics, and Technology Fair (formerly known as the Science and Technology Fair).
Participated in an international computer science competition and qualified for the pre-finalist stage.
Contributed to the development of an AI-powered schedule scanning application.
Served as president of the Robotics Club at Ubay National Science High School (UNSHS).
Led the Ubay National Science High School (UNSHS) team's programming and development efforts in the national Philippine Robotics Olympiad — Future Innovators competition. The team will represent the Philippines at the World Robot Olympiad Philippines 2026.
Participated in the Bohol Robotics Expo and Olympiad.
Won the congressional-level Technical Drafting competition.
Four areas worth their own dedicated pages: robotics competitions, research work, event history, and technical experiments.
From a first school-based competition to helping build a national-champion Future Innovators team headed to the World Robot Olympiad.

I'm Elijah Juris Evangelista, known online as Juris, a Grade 10 student interested in programming, robotics, IoT, mathematics, science, and research.
I attended BIT International College - Jagna (BIT IC - Jagna) for elementary school. I now study at Ubay National Science High School (UNSHS), where I lead the Robotics Club and compete with the school's teams in national and international robotics events.
Most of the projects here started because I wanted to see if I could build something. Online, I'm known by the usernames EjurisYT, Juriss, Jur1ss, and Helix.
This site exists purely to keep track of things I've done — projects, research, competitions — in one place for myself as much as anyone else.
